Brigitte Burnett
Deputy Director and Head of Economic Regulation and Supervision,

Brigitte Burnett is an economist and a sustainable development analyst and is currently working at the Energy Authority Suriname, the power sector regulator of Suriname, as the Deputy Director and the Head Economic Regulation and Supervision.
She has built up 25 years working experience on different aspects of the electricity sector namely macroeconomic, social, and, regulatory aspects. She has previously worked as a senior economist at the National Planning Office of Suriname and the Ministry of Finance and Planning. As a registered independent consultant, she has also been involved in impact assessment studies of donor financed rural electrification projects
