Charlene Tjon-Sien-Kie

Charlene Tjon-Sien-Kie is a Surinamese entrepreneur, certified business coach and communications strategist dedicated to strengthening leadership and private-sector capacity across the Guianas. She is the owner of ActionCOACH Suriname, where she helps entrepreneurs and executives improve profitability, develop high-performing teams and build scalable, sustainable organizations. She is also co-owner of Deepwater Communications and Business Services and Director for Suriname and Guyana at Loyals Caribbean, contributing expertise in strategic communications, branding, marketing and business development. 

As a former director of the Suriname–Guyana Chamber of Commerce, Charlene has actively promoted cross-border cooperation, business networking and local-content development. She also served as Secretary of the Rotary Club of Paramaribo Quota during the 2025–2026 Rotary year, contributing to community initiatives and service projects designed to create meaningful social impact. 

At IBC 2026, Charlene brings a practical, people-centred perspective to the conference theme, “From Energy to Industry: Investing in the Suriname–Guyana Value Chain.” She is passionate about developing capable leaders, connecting businesses and translating regional growth into sustainable opportunities for companies and communities.
