Dr. Damie Sinanan

Dr. Damie Sinanan is the Executive Director of the Caribbean Export Development Agency, headquartered in Barbados. He has been a pivotal member of Caribbean Export since 2014 and brings more than 20 years of experience in export development, trade promotion and private sector development across the Caribbean. A national of Trinidad and Tobago, he holds Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from the University of the West Indies. His vision is to transform Caribbean Export into the leading project executing agency for private sector development in the Caribbean. Under his leadership, the Agency is focused on expanding trade and investment, strengthening Caribbean businesses, creating new employment opportunities and ultimately improving the livelihoods of Caribbean people.
