H.E. Ivan Fernald
Ivan Fernald is Ambassador of the Republic of Suriname to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana.
He is a former Minister of Suriname (2005–2010), education specialist, author and political analyst, with more than four decades of experience in public service, education and national development.
He served for 21 years as Director of IMEAO (Commercial College) and has contributed extensively to education policy and institutional development. Fernald was also actively involved in political policy development within the National Party of Suriname (NPS).
He is the author of several books, including:
