H.E. Melvin Bouva

Melvin Bouva is the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Cooperation of Suriname. He is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in national and international governance. Bouva previously served as a Member and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and was Chairman of the National Youth Parliament. He also represented Suriname globally as a Youth Ambassador to the United Nations and held leadership roles within the Inter-Parliamentary Union, including President of the Forum of Young Parliamentarians. His work focuses on diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, youth development, and sustainable development initiatives.
